It was an amazing experience that becomes an integral part:) Along with Piyush'em, Toska and Barry we organized this year's Divali in the Association of Indo-Polish Integration (IPIS; www.ipis.org.pl) . Originally conceptualized in the last minute, very spontaneous, so the last two weeks were incredibly busy, and at the highest speed.
... but we managed to inch event a big success:) First, can

few words about himself !.... Divali Divali is the most important holiday in India, which is celebrated by all the inhabitants of India, not based on religion . We celebrate them Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists. In those days everyone become close to each other, there are no differences / boundaries between people. This festival is called the festival of lights, because in those days the brightness dominates the darkness, good over evil! Manifestation of this are the vast amount of candles ignited and discharged fireworks in the sky:) People pray to Goddess Lakshmi (the goddess of prosperity and wealth, as well as the god Ganesh - (god of success, any project), the front door houses usypuja marvelous and Rangoli people share huge amounts of sweets. The festival lasts five days and ends with a sumptuous fun!)

Our IPIS-ish Divali was similar:) gathered over 100 people (including more than half of the Hindu), who together celebrate this amazing day. Hall przecudownie dressed, amazing altar with the image of Lakshmi and Ganesh, everywhere pozapalane world, Indian music in the background, and this tasty Indian snacks. All poubierani in Indian attire enjoying those moments.
It started from the common prayer (puja), in the background sounded a song to Lakshmi, each candle lit steel from the hand, and loved the Indians sang the prayer. It was magnetyzujacy moment.
Then came the presentation of the perpetrators of the whole show, which is Piyush, Kasia, Tosca and me! After that began the evening show program - przecudowny the girls in the band Taal dance and present the Ramayana by the Orientalists of the University Circle.
In a further part of the program along with Barry poprowadzilysmy competition of knowledge about the Ramayana (funny was a little girl asking for Hanuman, and then we invited :):), all the fireworks. Another marvelous lights flew into the heavens and had the impression that this new year:):) Polish Divali! Everyone was thrilled:)
Then came the time to enjoy a delicious Indian jedzonkiem (dal, rajma, chicken in a carry, rice, mango shake, rasmalai and many other Indian delicacies. The queue was long for the good food and can see the jedzonko uczstnikow won the hearts:) :). Then the last part of the artistic program - the second part of Taal team dances. The band that kick-started the audience that soon after that performance Most of the Indians jumped on the dance floor and danced to the beat of Indian sounds:). It's just amazing in what way Indians know how to have fun and feel the music, the movements, the rhythm .. az milo look at them. But we did not krepowalismy their abilities and together tancowalismy late into the night! It was an amazing time:) Great music, great fun, great people ... otherwise this can not comment:):)
guided them at the end of yet another of the scheduled competitions - to create your own Rangoli, but using specific ingredients - rice, beans. The effect was amazing - there are two great works, shown on the pictures:):) At the end of the draw prizes and Contd. variations on the dance floor.
event ended in an amazing success! It was great, and yet we organized at the last minute and on a small scale! For the year that we conquer Poland Festival:):) It was just the beginning:):)
